Description:
For
novice ears it seems that guitar heroes have a mysterious
gift or use a magical spell to bring out their incredible
fast licks. Few of them show their licks before a camera,
performing in slow motion, sometimes without even mentioning
the scale used, leaving us without a clue as to how
to adapt it in our play… Instead of “selling
fishes”, Roo explains what is a fish, how to build
a solid fish net and how to fish. Not a chain of fast
licks empty of sense.
In
this exclusive video, Roo bares his knowledge just like
a private instructor. “Creative shred” focuses
on two main concepts: Rhythm patterns and interval choice.
How to construct your own arpeggios. Start sweeping,
picking and tapping. How sometimes with just a few notes
shaken up, you can create outstanding shred licks too.
How to make the most of an exercise so that it becomes
a mechanical reflex, and leads naturally to the note
flow of a personal lick.
Exercises
are shown slowly with close up pictures so that you
can really see the fingerboard. Roo gives hints for
practise habits and tricks to increase your endurance.
After this 1 hour lesson, you will understand ‘shred’
like never before!
